The United States Institue of Leadership and Diplomacy continues to develop an innovative approach to graduate education for professional careers in international affairs, political career, public leadership and management, public policy, and business education.

In this contemporary world of changing and unpredictable events, the overarching mission of the USILD is to prepare women and men to be creative leaders with a commitment to service and an understanding of the ethical component of businesses culture, governments leadership, and global affairs. In order to achieve this mission, the USILD works to ensure that our graduate students have the proper substantive understanding of the international system and the necessary skills to thrive in the public, private, nonprofit sectors, and international affairs.

The Master of Arts in International Affairs (MADA)) is a broad international relations degree, providing students the opportunity to have a grounding in core courses that cross the critical disciplines of international relations, history, legal, international business, and economics before focusing in a particular concentration. The program prepare students for professional careers.

The public policy is a world of leadership program that requires a leader to be vested with intellectual honesty. It is a world that requires a leader with the ability of advocating for causes and providing evidence in relation to theses causes. To be successfully, a leader must be familiar with a wide range of analytic methods. An urge to extract answers from the clutter of real-world public problems. Those are just some of the characteristics of someone who pursues the Master in Public Policy (MPP). It’s a rigorous two-year program that prepares you to understand complex problems and craft concrete solutions. Through courses, exercises and fieldwork, you master concepts and skills that draw on the social sciences but are adapted for action.

Master in the Art of Advocacy (Performance course)

The USILD program in Trial Advocacy is the perfect fit for lawyers and law school students who aspire to perfect their litigation tactics, remote advocacy, and courtroom performance. This is a performance-skills based training program that can be used by legislators, political leaders, prosecutors, judges or any public servant exposed at the crossroad of advocacy and debating to advance public interest causes that benefits the people. Prospective applicants are encouraged to speak with alumni who have completed the program.
